How I Decorated My Holiday Coffee Bar

Hey guys!! So, I'm super excited to start sharing some Holiday content! I am starting early for multiple reasons, and I LOVE IT! I usually start decorating and pulling out the content early because of Instagram really, but I can't lie and say it doesn't make my heart super happy! In the midst of me being 8 months pregnant, I have to get this done while I can. I also really just like to enjoy all my decor and what not a little longer before I have to turn around and take it all back down. There's just something about the holidays that makes you feel like a kid again, and get super giddy by the lights and cozy feels.

So anyway, to kick off the season I am going to be showing you guys how I decorated my coffee bar. This year I really wanted to achieve that rustic glam winter wonderland theme, and I'm super happy with how it turned out! I was able to purchase a lot during the 50% off sale at Hobby Lobby which saved me a lot of money! I also found a few things here and there at Ross, TJ Maxx, and Marshalls. For my coffee bar I wanted it to be super pretty and more just to look at versus having the coffee pods  and syrups out in the open. The only thing I do have out is a cute canister from Rae Dunn that has my stevia in it.

The first thing you want to do is start with a clean slate! I have a super small space over by my refrigerator that we have used for coffee. I have a basic plane Jane Keurig and then I have this two tiered tray from Marshalls. This tray was super inexpensive, and around $12.99. To make this space start to feel festive, I added a small strand of Christmas lights that I got from Dollar Tree. Above this space, I added a mini frosted magnolia wreath from Hobby Lobby. This was around $5 on sale.

Next I knew I wanted to add these cute festive Rae Dunn mugs to the bottom of the tray. Peace and Joy was found at TJ Maxx, and the cat themed ones were found at HomeGoods. I will use these mugs, but I have to say I haven't really wanted to because they just look cute as decor lol.

Next, working on the top side, it's all about the vignette. I was trying to keep my colors pretty neutral and winter like due to my theme. This meant that I kept the red minimal as much as possible. I was loving the white, natural wood tones, greens, and silver/golds.

This bottle brush tree was apart of my collection already, and I want to say I got it from Walmart for super cheap! It does have bits of red in it but not enough to make it a huge eye sore.
On the far left, I added that Rae Dunn canister as you can see. This isn't super "Christmasy" as it says Gather, but it is Holiday themed, and I honestly will use it year round lol. It has my stevia in it.

To bring this tray to life, I needed to add small pieces surrounding the tray to give it that detail and truly make it seem festive. If you just had mugs up there, it wouldn't look as good in my opinion. Which I mean, you totally could but that's just not what I was going for! Once I start to pile things up there, the tree becomes not as noticeable but that's totally ok, and we just needed it to fill the space. On the right, I added this candle holder I have had forever. I added these drink stirrers I got from Party City for my Baby Shower. I don't know if this is super sanitary but I have just been hand washing them and reusing them LOL. I do what I want ;) I think the silver and gold really adds to my theme, and looks cute. I need to go get more. In the photo above, you can see I was adjusting the canister and pulling it a little to the left because the word gather was being cut off. You kind of just have to play around with your decor and change things until you like it. Right there in the front, I added this little wooden sign. This was actually on a wooden sign you stick in the ground, but I ripped it off the pole and just used to the actual sign. I got this last year from Walmart. The sign definitely brings the theme together! The thing about me is I like things that are affordable, and yes I will splurge but I don't believe you HAVE to spend lots of money to achieve certain looks. In fact, I don't NEED anything, I just like it. Please please know that in the holiday season, you don't have to buy all these things that people recommend and have. They are just things, and at the end of the day, it's not everything. I say this because the holidays are fun, and festive...but it can also be super hard for people too. ANYWAY...back to the point!

Ok, so the last thing I added to the tray was this cute little pick with a frosted pinecone (not sure where from...its old) and a cinnamon stick and little frosted sprig I got from a vase filler pack from Hobby Lobby. I added those just to give it that extra Winter Wonderland vibe. I thought this was perfect, and didn't need anything else. Adding anything else in my opinion would've been overkill and this year, I'm really trying to not go overboard. I want my home to look nice, neat, and like Christmas. I do have a very small apartment this year, and one thing I have learned is that things can tend to look cluttered and tacky real quick. In my case, less is more, and I love it! So this is it! Super clean, and simple yet festive and I'M OBSESSED!!

Thanks for reading yall! I hope you like what I've come up with this year, and I'm so excited to share more.

XOXO,
